Description of Duties:

Felling Pine Trees, and Felling and Chunking Pine Trees in Project Areas

Experience/Education:

Experience desired.  High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.  He/she must be capable of obtaining a South Dakota Drivers license.  Be able to do lots of walking and work in inclement weather. Have excellent communication skills, work well with a team, have own transportation to and from work site, have own equipment and safety equipment for Felling and Chunking Trees.

Additional Information:

Experience operating Chainsaw, Any relevant training or certificates associated with Felling and Chunking Pine Trees.  Able to work outside all day.  Must provide own chainsaw and personal protection equipment, to include: sturdy leather gloves, OSHA approved chainsaw chaps (min. 2 inches boot overlap), wear OSHA approved hard hat, OSHA approved safety glasses, ear protection, and 8 inch-high, heavy-duty, nonskid sole, laced, cut-resistant leather boots.
